Got a slight knock at low speed over undulating ground, so I'm thinking do the subframe (creak) bolt upgrade (Passat) & the TT/cupra top mount upgrade - hoping that these will cure it.

Question is do you need a 4 wheel alignment afterwards or is it a straight swap for the garage?

Also would it be worth upgrading the console bushes at the same time to the super pro anti lift ones? again would this affect the geometry ?

Only problem with doing them all at the same time, is you won't know which has fixed the problem :signLOL:

Evening gents. I also have a knocking/creaking from my steering. I have done a little research and heard about the actual rack faults. I get the creaks when turning right only. Im not sure if this is relevant but when its wet. Its less noticable and sometimes goes away completely? If im turning right and hit bumps and small pot holes i get the creaking sound. Ive changed the worn top mount bearings. Checked tension on subframe bolts. I havent noticed any difference in handling at all and im kind of at a loss. Any help would be great. Thanks

Eccie can you give me any info on these upgrades? Interested to see if they will help my issues? Thanks

I answered the question did I not?
Seems pretty logical to me if you are removing / changing anything suspension wise it should really be aligned afterwards!
