Service Interval Question
« on: April 06, 2015, 06:05:58 pm »
Hi, looking at purchasing another ED30...however the service history has thrown up an anomaly

2007 car serviced as follows

2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014

2013 is missing. Could the dealer have put it on Long life by mistake? The vehicle was only averaging 5k miles per year.

On this basis should I walk away? To me this isn't FULL history?

What do you think?

What's the exact date? One could have been December 2012 and the other January 2014. It wouldn't scare me that much, look a little further and check the reciepts to see what was done exactly and when exactly.

Wouldn't scare me off one bit!!

Could have been a major service in 2012 with minimal driving and maybe since only an oil service was needed they did it themselves in 2013.

Check what was serviced in 2012 and 2014.
