Fitting Cruise Controller

Hey guys.
saw the cruise control how-to here in the how-to selection but do i need to do a steering angle  reset if i only change my currect stalk to one with cruise?
can i install the stalk without taking the computer off?

you have to take the slipring and steering angle sensor to remove the stalk. As its removed, you will have to reset it.

any how-to to reset it with vcds?
is it hard? easy? and removing the airbag is it only to turn the wheel and insert a screwdriver and push the 2 clips down?

You will need to turn the steering wheel full lock to the left and hold for a few seconds then full lock to the right and hold for a few seconds, then centre the steering wheel and go for a short drive.

the airbag connector has to be removed otherwise the steering wont come off. The wires going into the steering wheel controller can stay connected but the module itself will need to be removed so you can remove the slip ring and angle sensor

great. becouse i dont wana mess with the controller at all. the airbag wire is just to be pulled toward you or do i need to press some kind of clip as in the 2nd video i showed?

you pull the white clip towards you and then that releases the whole yellow connector from the slip ring.
