Black badges

Noticed a few posts recently with people saying they are going to do or are doing there badges black. Mine are black and have been sanded down in order to paint them but I want OE spec silver badges! I've got a front VW badge, grill GTI (no clips though), rear boot badge (black with carbon wrapped back) and a black edition 30 badge. I live in Doncaster and happy to drive a reasonable distance (i.e 1 hour) in order to swap with someone?

I got a standard back vw badge and I want a black one but am in London :(

Where can I buy a black badge ?
Have you got any pics of the back vw badge ?

You have to paint them mate...mine have been sanded prior to painting so I cant just wipe the black paint off with thinners!

I seen people peeling it off with credit card and sticking new one on but I can't find it anywhere ?

They look good in black, check ebay or do as I did and wrap it. You never used to be able to buy the rear one in black but that may have changed now, front black one is only a tenner from ebay I think.

My old rear wrapped Mk5 3D black VW emblem with colour coded rear.....
