Coilover help

Just bought some new top mounts to fit with the new jom coilovers but the little plastic bit that goes in the top mount is loose and just slides down the damper any ideas what's up am I doing something wrong haha

Have you bought coilovers of the right size, as only the GTI, GT TDI and R32 use 55mm strut, all others use a 50mm. Could be mismatched parts here? Just my 10p...

Year they are the write ones the more I look ate it I think it just sits on top of the bump stop

I've sadly never fitted suspension so I can't say, but one way to find out is to try. :happy2:
