How much for DV change?

Seriously mate its a 20 minute job even on normal k03 Gti and that includes jacking the car up etc
Where abouts are you il do if for a beer token 

Checked mine few weeks ago just to make sure still in one piece etc and must have took me 15 minutes

I used a standard 1/4 drive ratchet with short extension bar and bit holder with 5mm allen key bit oh and a small flat blade screwdriver to unclip electrical plug
No special tools required

As i said in that thread mate
The Dv on a Gti is a doddle compared to heater matrix hoses on a mk1 focus Rs 

Honestly don't see what the fuss is about i found it a easy simple job!

Might start charging £25 to change them and do 3 an hour

This was my first job I did on a car ... After fitting a cat back. This was easier haha! It's easy honest just take time and follow guide can't really go wrong and will save yourself £££. Since checking the dv iv changed the hpfp so it gives you confidence

You need to take arch liner out really unless it's on a ramp. Wheel off helps a lot.

I did mine with no other info and made the how to after. Go for it! It's not that daunting and is well worth keeping your £60

I have changed mine once with the wheel and arch liner off. I can now do it with just jacking the car up at the front and no need to remove anything to access the dv and just used a 1/4 socket. It really is a straight forward job and easily achievable in 20mins

Tbh .. I'm a dreadful mechanic and I did it in about 30 mins on deck.

I'll second that but ONLY if you have the right tools before you start. The first time I didn't have spanners and drivers short enough to reach between the chassis and the dv so it took an hour. Second time maybe 15minutes knowing what tools I needed.

I'm not a mechanic but I'm no idiot, can change gearboxes/clutches etc.
It took me 45 minutes, wheel off, jack car up a bit, arch liner off etc. On a ramp like I said it's about 10 minutes and a piece of pie - angle is much better to work at.
I have big hands, maybe makes it harder.

It depends how you go about it (whether on the deck, or wheel and arch liner off), level of skill, tools available (that one bolt is a PITA with the wheelarch cover on, but is do-able)

Either way it's an easy DIY - 3 bolts and an electrical connector
