I think the key is the same in all VW's (flip out ones). Not sure on the part number though sorry.

Part number on my key is HLO 1K0 959 753 for an 06 model year GTi on 434 Mhz

I just replaced one of my keys with one off of ebay, had to swap out the microchip (so no re-programming required) and had no snags - works a treat!!

Only 1 letter and thats a G
