Yes ive also owned 2 Mk5 Gti's first one a bought in 2008 on a 06 plate but had to sell after only 6 month ownership due to recession hitting our firm hard  :surprised:

Stepped back into curren mk5 Gti in Aug last year fully loaded on 57 plate and apart from few niggly issues when first got it im now absolutely loving it.
As you say just a great all round car that's literally perfect for everything  :smiley:
Been looking at the newer mk7 Gti's recently but keep asking myself is it even worth it as in all honesty not much seems to have changed in comparison to the mk5 really! Bit nippier and a limited slip diff if you find one with performance pack option oh and 3 times the price  :sick:

If your thinking of selling your GTI give me a shout, have cash waiting :happy2:

Will do buddy, have had a couple of people on here offer to buy mine plus a local. Friend of a friend but just still undecided about it if im honest!

Maybe a should go test drive a performance pack mk7 to see what they all about

Hey if you can afford it, buy it ...and while there are interests to buy your car at the moment.
