Bluetooth touch phone kit ??
« on: March 18, 2015, 09:05:30 pm »
Just went to wire an Aux port into my car and upon removing the headunit I found this,  what's the deal with this thing.

I have an rcd500 fitted there's a little screen with it but the pins on the fitting are bent and it doesn't work.

Looks like it's a Bury bluetooth phone kit (C9090 or something like that I think). I had one in mine when I got the car, pretty good piece of kit, worked well with my iPhone but I replaced it with a Fiscon Basic Plus for integration with the RNS510.

You need the aux port of he Bury plugged into the headunit to get music playback working. I never bothered with mine as it wasn't in the car long enough. You have to make sure yiu get the correct screen for the version of unit as there are a few different ones.
