Revo SPS stage 1 setting!

Hey, just received my revo sps switch and combined with the software I found out that my revos stage 1 settings where Boost: 9 Timing: 5 Fuel: 5

I run on v-power and have a revo intake.

Is this ok? i'm guessing so as the car drives well. I just always thought that fuel was best to be on 9? Any one shed some light on this?

Also, I am going stage 2 next week with the decat down pipe getting installed too. What kind of setting would I be looking at once all the hardware is in place.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Why do you say that?

I have just read that from low to high its rich to lean. Does the car need to be on lean fuel? I only use v-power but i thought that was to do with the timing setting which 5 seems about right.

I had my stage 2 set up b9 t5 f4
It ran like sh*t, I emailed revo and told them all my mods and settings
They told me my car was running too lean it should be on 8/9 so I took it back and they sorted it out! Now it's much better and boosts more!

F4 is richer than F8 or 9. F1 is rich, F9 is very lean. I tried this on my setup and a wideband lambda on a dyno logged the AFR in the high 12's - far too lean!

There is no right or wrong answer though, the car needs to be datalogged. You could probably drop the fuelling to 7 or 8 if you're only on T5 with V-power.

Once you go Stage 2, again the car needs logging with VCDS to set it up nicely as there is no right or wrong answer.

Mine is currently running B9, T7, Fuel is either 6 or 7 (really can't remember) but i'm Revo 2+ and have WMI too so not really comparable.

Hi so i just spoke with revo and said that my setting could hurt the car as b9 t5 f5 is not recommended for stage 1. Revo where very helpful and suggested that i use b7 t5 f9. They said that the setting i had it on is more like a stage 2+ :/

So i will switch to this over the weekend. I ll give u an update once i have changed it over

You really need to do some logging as already suggested... you can't just throw on settings and expect to be getting the best out of the map

I know i need to log....revo basically told me that with out an ungraded fuel pump running my fuel setting on 5 was too low and i should run at 9. Am guessing its how the car feels too, I will see how b7 t5 f9 goes/feels and i will report back.

Have You had a chance to change the settings?, And what was Your experience with the new settings?
