Replacing Standard Bulbs
« on: March 18, 2015, 11:19:20 pm »
Whats the general consensus to replace the standard non xenon lights?

Osram Nightbreaker or Phillips Xtreme Vision?

Are those the only real choices? I dont want a HID kit as had them before, bulbs blew all the time & had issues with High beam not working.

Phillips extreme vision are better (brighter) than VW OEM.  May not last as long as OEM, but that's true of most "brighter" bulbs.

This, i've got M Tecs as my dipped beams and they are nice and white, but rather less output than normal bulbs.
Got the OSRAM as my high beam and they are brighter, but not as white.

Still either don't match my LED bulbs  :sad1:
There is no replacement for displacement....
But a turbo does help....
