Iphone Problem

I gave my wife my old iphone (yeah i know , should have sold it to her!)

She has then got a sim only iphone contract which comes with a new number , she wanted to keep her old number so did the swap over via the text message way.....

Now the problem is that her old number is still shown on her iphone under settings<messages<send&receive . There is her apple id and the old phone number , we need to delete this number and replace with her number. Can't seem to find an online solution - we are abroad and she wanted to send texts , especially as its mothers day and it can't .

So how do we swap the old number for the new one ? Thanks

Resolved the problem , she had made a big red nose day donation which had reached her buffer restriction ! Now the phone can send texts and make calls as we are abroad and have to pay . Also the link above will solve the phone number thing when we link the phone to itunes via usb
