Fuse information
« on: November 29, 2009, 05:54:39 pm »
Hi chaps, Hopefully this will come in handy for someone in the future having difficulty with electrical problems that 9 out of 10 are fuse related. There doesn't seem to be a definitive list anywhere of the fuse numbers and what part of the vehicle they protect along with the fuse rating. All of the information is taken from the mk5 Haynes manual and is listed for the 1.6 engines but I can't see any reason why any harnesses would be different between the two engines.

If you have to ask why, you'll never understand.

BEWARE. VW makes a habit of changing fuse locations. Even the same engine codes sometimes have wandering homes for fuses.
