Cheers! Think that's gonna be the best route, have to have a chat with Alex about some rear brackets. When I fitted them I topped mine up with some type 200, need the whole system changing really.

These turned up last week, curtesy of @Hurdy

B16's and some H&R anti roll bars  :happy2:

These are exactly what I wanted and was going to be ordering some new ones within the next couple of weeks, so they came up just at the right time! Although I am gutted that Hurdy's car is no more  :sad1: Make sure you keep us updated on the new project! Hopefully get them fitted within the new couple of weeks.

Very tempted with a 6R, ticks so many boxes for me and do love a VAG!

Found the calipers online, if you are after some there's a few new sets floating around on various facebook pages at the min. Then the rest of the kit came from AKS Tuning, consisting of floating discs, lines, carriers etc. Price was just over the £2k mark I think. That included getting the calipers repainted and a few other bits.

Cheers  :happy2: After going from a powerful FWD car to the 6R with AWD I don't think I could go back to FWD again. The way it launches and puts power down is like night and day!

Thanks  :happy2:

I still have the 6R... but not for much longer. I would 100% recommend one, the only reason mine is going is because I started a Mk5 project at the end of last year which is taking the majority of my time and funds up, and I am looking at getting on the property ladder within the next year so I need to free up some funds. The link to my new build thread is in my signature so feel free to follow that one!

Cheers, James.

Lovely car and great write up! How are you finding S2+ I'm going for stage 1 but I think I'd crave more power from the off!
