A great read.
Love the car. Don't think I've ever seen a black 6R on the road

Those breaks
Can I ask where you sourced them from and if I dare.......................... how much??

Trow81:

Great read and stunning car, I am intrigued if this build is still going as the last post by the OP was last Aug..........anymore updates??

Very tempted with a 6R, ticks so many boxes for me and do love a VAG!

Found the calipers online, if you are after some there's a few new sets floating around on various facebook pages at the min. Then the rest of the kit came from AKS Tuning, consisting of floating discs, lines, carriers etc. Price was just over the £2k mark I think. That included getting the calipers repainted and a few other bits.

Cheers  :happy2: After going from a powerful FWD car to the 6R with AWD I don't think I could go back to FWD again. The way it launches and puts power down is like night and day!

I still have the 6R... but not for much longer. I would 100% recommend one, the only reason mine is going is because I started a Mk5 project at the end of last year which is taking the majority of my time and funds up, and I am looking at getting on the property ladder within the next year so I need to free up some funds. The link to my new build thread is in my signature so feel free to follow that one!

Cheers, James.
