Impressive. My stage 2 (with S3 cooler and uprated charge pipes) does the 0-60 sprint between 6.0 - 6.4 seconds depending on weather conditions and road surface. You must get some launch.

How are you timing the 0-60?

I used a Scangauge to time mine. You set the performance meter whilst stationary then accelerate off. The Scangauge starts timing the moment you move off and continues timing until you come back to a standstill at which point you stop it. Then you can review the speed increments showing the seconds it took to reach each increment.

If you're using a manual stopwatch and starting and stopping it yourself; you'll find the timings are way out regarding accuracy. Just something to think about.

i timed the video at 6.29 on my stop watch.

for reference the speedo overreads by about 5-7mph.
Using a scangauge (or a polar mfd) reads the actual wheel speed sensor mph which is accurate and used by the odometer.

A lot of people will dismiss speedo based 0-62mph (0.100km/h) due to the inaccuracy and lack of precision. As mentioned, get yourself to a drag strip and get it done "officially", would be good to see how far off (or not...) your timings are.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

^THIS

it's impossible to get an accurate time with a stopwatch anyway as human reactions aren't quick enough. . . Then you are using the speedo to judge when your at 60mph, again the speedo over reads.

When you consider the margin for error in both of those, you WILL be well out. . .

Yep...

Speedo at 60, car not at 60.

You'd be over 6 Sec's if you got an accurate speed reading....

Standard DSG is 6.9, so you may just be able beat that with some decent gear changes and you current state of tune.

It's not worth getting excited unless timed using a reliable accurate source
