Hi folks, based in edinburgh & new to site but hoping the combined knowledge of all u vag gurus might just get my 04 mk5 golf gti thru its mot. got it cheap as needs rear suspension refresh (new trailing arms, wishbone bushes) new rear abs reluctor rings & sounds like a diesel..
Mot next week so gotta get the parts in rapid so first question is whats your fav places to get parts online? I'll prob have to phone to confirm orders so places with decent customer service be good.
Also wondering if rear trailing arms are a PITA to change, eg bolts nightmare to shift? and also if u need new hubs if rear reluctor rings r rotten?.
Iv done suspension rebuilds on clio sports n bmw's so got all tools & hopefully enough skills to get me thru.. Any info on stuff above be great :)
