Breaking a Complete GTi?
« on: April 22, 2015, 09:49:08 pm »
How much do you reckon you could brake a GTI for?

Early one, Full leather...DSG.

Just seen some cheap ones recently and wondered what you could make if anything on breaking.

Buying a cheap gti that's road worthy you'll be in the red a long way IMO, best bet is to buy a crashed damaged one like a cat c and break that. The cat c's I've seen sold at auctions have sold for a 1k + each time. Biggest way to make a good profit is by getting the car silly cheap to start with but of course that's the hardest part  :fighting:

Problem with rough ones is most parts won't be worth much, but a crashed, well loved example will ultimately net more profit. Its a gamble either way, and factor in costs of getting the car to somewhere too.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!
