Plea for morale

Wondering if there would be any volunteers to lift my spirits over the summer...

Off to the South Atlantic for 6 months on Sunday. Summer here at home is the fierce winter down there.  Triple winter for me this year  :sick:

Anyway; I will have really limited internet access (100 mins of sketchy wifi a week  :confused:).  I miss literally all of the motorsport season mainly BTCC, Volkswagen cup & Uk Time attack.

I wondered if anyone had the facility to record BTCC (itv4?), Vw cup (motors Tv), maybe British Gt (Vw cup is a support race so probably on at the same time), and maybe some of the Time attack newsletters from the website or Facebook. Put them to Cd/Dvd and post out. I'm sure upto 2kg is free)

Would be hugely appreciated. Would obviously be a crate of beer or 2 in it.  Going to be a drag down there. It's a shame it's not their summer time I'm going, would be a bit more bearable! Lol

Put the mags in sets of under 2kg to keep the postage free & stop it going on the boat instead of by air  lol :innocent:

You could stream it on a laptop or PC and use software that records your current screen and sound then just edit off the before and after bits of the BTCC. Easier than hacking a Sky box.

I'll reserve comments about being down there as come 2016 I'll be even further south, fingers crossed...

 Problem is I don't have wifi and only have 40minutes daily limit on a Welfare desktop PC :sad1:

My workmate is doing 7 marathons on 7 continents and is doing Antarctica later his year. Costing him 10k to get there  :surprised: :scared:

Hey Pete. Thanks very much. Not sure where the motivation comes from tbh lol.

I phoned the post office yesterday and it seems upto a Kg is £3.20 so don't worry about sending anything dude.

I'm just hanging out to get some Motorsports coverage to keep my spirits lifted lol.

My limited internet will be swallowed keeping in touch with the missus & little legs
