Lots of changes to my GTI over the last month. It started with a full clean inside and out.
Then I got some spacers 10mm front and 12mm rear to step the wheels out slightly and give it some more aggression.
I then bought a set of projector headlights on ebay. These turned out to be utter s**t and I sold them two days later, thankfully for exatly what I paid. The eBay seller refused to issue me a return so after a Paypal dispute, I was glad to get my money back. Would strongly recommend against anyone buying these:

I also ordered an Edition 30 splitter and had that sprayed to match the car, this was then mated to a TRC splitter and all mounted up the other day. I also got the US indicator running light function activated to 35%.
Next up was to get it ready for mapping. The car is booked into well known Irish tuner Joe Power on Monday so I needed to sort some noise and air flow before then.
I got an exhaust with resonator delete and fitted that on my back on axle stands on the drive
While at it, I removed the downpipe and knocked out the pre-cat.
Then i treated it to a fresh change of Millers Nanodrive and a new filter. Gave the DV, intake etc a check over and shes ready for the rolling road.
Looking forward to seeing what it makes. Hoping for 260hp on 98ron so if I get that, i'll be delighted.
Then its time to sort wheels, suspension and brakes.
Do I go H&R Deep Still Static / fancy wheels or keep it trackday inspired?
