k03 maf output

whats the going rate for the maf reading on a k03.

my peak MAF was 193g/s iirc which using the old divide by 0.8 would equal 241bhp, which id throw a wild one out and say i have a fair bit more than. thinkive read somewhere that stgage 2+gti's put out between 190-205g/s.

I know you have to take it witha pinch of salt due to it not taking into account the timing etc.

260bhp stage 2 normally seen a couple do it on jkm's

Really, I'd be surprised at that, Stage 2 K03's consistently make 240-244 on JKM's dyno.

Infairness I was there when Makefish's Stage 2 Octy made 285hp and 350lbft on a K03. It was later found to operating outside the parameters of the map and was toned down to become the Revo Stage 2+ development car which ended up around 280hp and 315lbft if I remember correctly.

RR's k03 Gti is an excellent case in point. But if u go further north u can find k03 Gti's doing 270bhp maybe. One even did 300bhp alledgedly. Once upon a time dangb's leon pre bt made 290bhp but even he had to laugh at that!

all of these on JKMs rollers. two of them this as well.

mine made 277 and 286 on AMDs rollers, while i very much doubt that personally especially with the issues i had, i doubt they were 40bhp out. i reckon she was aound the 250bhp area then

Really, I'd be surprised at that, Stage 2 K03's consistently make 240-244 on JKM's dyno.


....Extremely consistently in my case - Whatever the time of year and over a period of nearly 2 years.

Further backed up by a 245 bhp plot this weekend on SurreyRR Dyno-Dynamics.

i agree that some RRs show huge figures but its also been shown that different DD rollers give very similar results when compared to each other.

it also worth noting that RRs gti is minus an intake, and id bet hes going to get a fair whack more out of it once his twintake is fitted.

back on subject, has anybody know of any MAF readings for a k03, any stage??

hedge did you ever log yours, (think i might have got your graph up as well, hope you dont mind)

RRs is the only one i have seen reading below 250bhp on stage 2, but i bet that is due to the ones i have seen have all had intakes. Id bet his is putting out a similar output as the stage 2 dynos i posted above.

@hedge was your octy, got it from the vRS on the dyno thread on brisky

Sure? I only ran mine once on stage 1 and got quite low figures.  :confused:
