Drop in MPG

Hi guys i mainly do city driving and i get around 23mpg with mixed driving however recently it has dropped to 17 mpg and the computer takes away 5 miles every mile or so  :scared: is this to do with the pcv and would a pcv revamp fix the issues? Thanks any help is appreciated  :happy2:

How would i know if i have a seized caliper? Only thing i can think of is check each wheel and see if any of them are really hot?

We had a sticking caliper on our focus, sounds similar to a wheel bearing drone and got very hot

Hmm went for a drive today and my brakes seem fine and cant feel any heat coming from them  :sad1: any other ideas?

Dont get a PCV revamp, just replace with the latest OEM PCV (if that is whats causing your problem)

As above. Check/change PCV with OEM
Check / replace air filter
Check / replace spark plugs.
These are relatively cheap and easy to do.

Then, if that lot doesn't work - get a VCDS scan and se if it throws up any faults.
