Silverstone GP circuit May 4th
« on: March 31, 2015, 10:13:08 pm »
Just booked my first track day at Silverstone, its an open pit lane event and it's the full F1 circuit. Probably going to get a 20 minute session with an instructor and I've got a C63 Black series experience at Mercedes Benz world 2 days before so will no doubt learn a lot that day as well.

Has anybody done one before? Any tips? How was it?

I did Silverstone in my 600bhp GTR. A fantastic,  open circuit with fast straights, sweeping bends and plenty of run-off. My advice would be don't take the wife in the car with you. I did and span off at 130mph, she's still swearing at me to this very day!!!!

Damn you, you've unmasked me. Now everybody knows that I am Stavros the kebab man! :sad1:

I remember when that video first came out and there was lots of speculation on the GTR forum as to who it was. (I hope they don't see this and realise it was actually me.)
