Dont know the answer to the a/c thing but If you find that the vent should be there use it to get a discount Along with the shoddy wheels you could get a few £££ off Good luck Seats are rather nice too
My first GTI was similar in spec - without airconIt was an Irish import - if I were you I would keep looking as it would be hard to sell on
That's quite a lot of £££ for a really low spec GTI, yeah it's low mileage and quite a late model but personally I'd much rather get a slightly older one with better spec or even start looking at Ed30s at that price.
As far as I can remember the lack of aircon and top vent on the dash were the only differences to a UK spec GTI - identical on the outside My old one still had highline display but no MFSW a RCD300 radio, no armrest or heated seats. Proper pauper spec

My first priority is basic condition and spec.Right now I can find no manual 5 door ED30 cars in good un-modified condition, even at £12,000
Nope - no aircon whatsoeverJust blowers and heating
