Will be collecting my GTI a week tomorrow, can't wait

Hi everyone, new here.

Just thought I'd post up about my new acquisition, and introduce myself to the community, this forum was a big help when researching what to look out for when buying.

Went and looked at a 56 plate, 65k, silver 5 door on Friday, safe to say I was incredibly impressed and took the plunge.

The garage I'm getting it from is servicing it and MOT etc, plus a few cosmetic bits and pieces, then I'm away at the weekend so collecting it on the 14th. I cannot wait, loved it on the test drive, just want it on the drive now.

Pics will be up as soon as I've got it.

Welcome to the forum Phil.  Sounds like you've got yourself a nice example.  Loads of good information on here and people willing to help.

Get some pictures up once you've got the car.   :happy2:
