New Wheels help
« on: April 12, 2015, 06:38:02 pm »
A'up,
I've bought some genuine VW alloy wheels (black and polished) off EBay and I've started to clean them up today. Trouble is they are covered in deep scratches and I need to get them out.
Normally you would use a DA but I need to do this by hand so please recommend a good cutting compound I can use with a cloth and my fingers?
Thanks
Matt

http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/shopping_cart.php

That's what I would (and have) used in the past to get stuff out by hand, then just buff off with a microfibre and should help. However depending on how deep they are you may never get them out by hand.

f*ck sake, its Gtechniq P1 and a tri foam applicator, the applicator has a hard and soft side and its very helpful.
