Pull the black tube out like so



Simply plug it with a screw or strong tape and away you go. Sounds awesome at low speeds  :evilgrin:

I never could find the battery in mine :laugh:

for what its worth.. like the OP says an R32 for the winter months would be a god send. I would swap it for my GTI at the drop of a hat :happy2:

That black box next to the battery contains fuses and electrical cabling, the MKV R32 is similar but has NO battery. It's in the boot floor. See Jules pic. :happy2:
