Your GTi looks nice. I'm an ex EP3 Type-R owner as well. I sold it 4 years ago but really missed NA engines so bought a DC2 Integra. Type-R's are more involving cars to drive fast and the handling and transmissions are superb. They are also surprisingly cheap to run if you get a well looked after car (hard to find now though).

The GTi is the better 'do it all' car, but reving a car to 9k rpm is a lot of fun.

As for your question..The honda is light with great handling..But you have to keep it high in the rev range to get the most out of the car..the gearbox is one of the best with the gear knob close to the driver for quick changes..put simply a drivers car...

As for the golf i'm loving it..I like the power from low down in the rev range it really puts you back...and the build quality is second to none. i'm going to enjoy modding this car...

hi....Another little update well first of all I decided I needed a new intake...and their are lots to choose from..as everybody is well aware I was looking at around the £300 mark. When I came across the Ramair kit. I know a few people on the forum already have this kit and at a bargain price of £155 why not so this arrived a few days ago.....

  IMG_0146 by deansinpost, on Flickr

all fitted ... Well impressed with the build quality for such a low cost system.....

IMG_0151 by deansinpost, on Flickr

After fitting the kit was fitted.. I was toying with the idea of cutting the engine cover just like a lot of people have. But gave up because when I brought the car the previous owner had cracked the cover..so i might get a tt rs one I believe that fits..so decided to remove the oil cap neck so it sits flush a lot better I think

IMG_0154 by deansinpost, on Flickr

also the bonnet  lining was hanging down in places so got rid of that too...looks a lot cleaner now...

IMG_0153 by deansinpost, on Flickr

and last of all..Open Fog light gillies much better and a very good fit They should have come like this from the factory.....

Well Jayha.. just like you may have I have a long list..but I'm not going to rush this one..I do tend to rush building up cars and then get bored of them and end up selling..first thing first

New wheels .......in the shape of something bbs/maybe reps
suspension ........Eiback sportline springs/ no coil-overs this time round
New Exhurst   ....power valve exhaust/liking that one over millteck system.

And I guess a few bits and bobs along the way...but thats the big stuff...
