Milltek or cobra exhaust system?

Hey guys, what one of those 2 would you recommend as a full decat system?

Some people say they are quite and the welds are sh*t but some people say they are the best, must just been personal preference to those that have had a bad experience.

I had a Milly resonated turbo back system with sportscat on my old GTI and it was exactly the same as the standard exhaust
No increase in cabin noise or exhaust note  just better breathing - if I wanted it a little more sporty I could have removed the resonator box but I didnt bother

This time round I will either go for a BCS system or a EuroJet for a louder tone

I'm looking for a non resonated with decat so hopefully get a nice not off that

i just fitted a resonated Milltek, and like others have said it sounds pretty much no different to standard, apart from the bigger pipes at the back you wouldn't know. For me that is great as its exactly what i wanted, but others may want more noise

Do you think that a non res would be louder?

yes a no res would be louder.

more sporty. check the difference on youtube, thye got before and after vids

I have a non res and the noise is awesome. It doesn't really drone or anything either as it's only really loud on boost.

Cheers man, just dont want to go spending the money on one then find out that the other brand sounds so much better

If you want noise you should really find someone with a EuroJet decat exhaust
They sound pretty epic - flames out the back with pops and bangs

Would it not do that with a decat anyway?

Yes Non Res would def be louder, from what i understand the difference between the two is the middle box, the res has one, the non res just a though pipe. I really like mine being quiet, but thats just me. No doubt the louder systems would sound great.
