Removing GTI stamping from seats
« on: April 08, 2015, 10:41:06 pm »
just wandering if there was a way of removing the stamping off the Gti cloth headrests, or is there no way at all to do this?

Just thinking as I like the look of the seats but don't really want the Gti branding.
How hard can it be?

You'll need to have then retrimmed in order to remove it. Or get head rests from non-gti seats.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Had a feeling about that, I thought that I would be able to sort of iron them out,

Was just thinking of removing it, as I like the Gti seats and as my car isn't a gti I just thought of removing it.

Picking the seats up tomorrow so will see if I can find a way around it

Gti is my favourite bit on the seats especially on the full leather, looks spot on, tasteful addition by Vw  :happy2:
