FITTING OF OSIR VENT BOOST GAUGE

I have just hold of OSIR vent boost gauge there is a positive and negative that connects to the light switch if i am correct? and also little hose that needs to be connected somewhere under the bonnet now the help i need is:

1. How to remove the vent without damaging it ?
2. Where do i connect the little hose to ?? i also have a forge recirculating dump valve if that at all makes a difference any help be great?

1. Trim removal tool - very easy
2. Connect it to your diverted valve and hey presto  :smiley:

Don't have DIVERTER valve any more got dump valve with two hoses that come out of it which one do I use lol also its mk5 ed30

Have you the little adapters that screw into the side of the valve? If you do use the one with the smaller hole for boost gauge

And it's still a diverted valve, tfsi's don't dump boost, think yours is a BOV?

Show us a picture of your dv fitted to your engine bay, we could maybe direct you better.

The boost pipe needs run in through a rubber gromet, to connect onto the gauge.

If it's not broke, Mod it.....

Attach it to the bottom of the hose/pipe coming from the PCV (the corrugated looking one) via a boost fitting kit.

Pic of mine below, I have 2 feeds coming off it via the multi tap. Check my Build thread for link to Forge boost fitting kit, page 1. Also cheap one sare available from AwesomeGTI or nice flash Billet Alu ones from 42 Draft Designs.

There maybe a smaller fitting for the boost gauge if i remember correctly and smaller hose...
If it's not broke, Mod it.....

looking at the bits i have the hose the piece that goes onto the pcv and all the bits just being a wolly really i though what the hell them bits are for  :signLOL:
