Removing precat
« on: April 13, 2015, 12:04:43 pm »
Hi All,

I have seen a few threads around on people who have rmeoved the Precat which results in better sound, better mpg possibly etc but apart from seeing pictures of people showing where they have knocked out the chalk bit i cannot find a comprehensive guide from start to finish on doing this.

I have tried googling and also cannot find anything. Has anyone got a link to a guide on what is needed and what needs to be done form removing from vehicle to knocking chalk out and refitting

Thanks

Cheers, I had seen this thread but was hoping there was one with guide pics. However in summary I need to remove the Downpipe, knock out the chalk stuff and then fit back together.

I should be able to find a guide o nremoving the downpipe somewhere  :happy2:

You don't need a guide, just get underneath it and unbolt it. Nothing to it
