glovebox kits mdi?

Does anyone know the ins and outs of these mdi glovebox kits that go into armrest. Lookin to do away with the iPod dock for aux cable .any information much appreciated cheers

The iPod doc is interchangeable for a 6 cd changer but the mdi kit needs a different loom so it's a case of having to remove your centre console to install it in arm rest. I think putting it in the glovebox is the way to do it. If I'm wrong somebody please correct me  :smiley:
