which boots?

so got to decide what tyres to get soon....

start the voting..heard good and bad about all mentioned, want a good all rounder, for wear, tyre noise and price....

Voted for the Pirelli's. Full set of P-Zero's went on this afternoon.
Did have 2 sets of Goodyears - pretty good as well.

I voted super sports having also had 10,000 miles + on Goodyear's and the Michelins are a noteable improvement

On my 4th set of f1 assy2s that are used for faaast road (no track) and i've not one single complaint against them. Feedback and confidence they offer still blow me away.

Having used both the F1's and the Super Sports in anger on both mine and my wife's cars the Super Sports come out on top every time IMHO! :innocent:

The F1's are a great tyre but the Super Sports just have that extra level of grip!

The Goodyear's are a great tyre and I didn't think the Michelin's could be any better but I tried them and I'm glad I did, somehow theyre just a step up in every condition. The two things I found with the Goodyear's were they're bad in the colder weather and they got a bit 'floaty' in standing water, with the Michelin's both these were no longer a problem. I didnt think you could get a better all round tyre without some sort of compromise but if the Michelin's have one I haven't found it yet.

cheers for that,, is there any difference in noise levels? heard the Michelin's are a little noisier??
