New GTI owner
« on: April 15, 2015, 05:48:43 pm »
Hi there folks!

Thought I'd make a thread to say hello, I had a look through here for buying advice before I took the plunge so thought I'd sign up. Had my GTI for a couple of weeks now and am loving it, been using my work van for personal use for the past 18 months so it feels good getting back in a car especially one as comfy and fun as this  :smiley:. Was looking for about 2 months before I found mine as I wanted a decent one that'd been looked after, it's got;

Heated leather seats
Sat nav
6 disc changer
18's
60,000 miles
As well as Xenons and auto lights and wipers

Got a few photos here and look forward to getting involved.

Welcome! Almost identical to mine when I bought it.

By the looks of it, your extras also include highline clocks, dual zone climate control, MFD2, votex gear nob and a front vent.

We're not too different you and I - http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,89715.msg907250.html#msg907250

Good luck with the car, looks perfect!!

Very tidy example you've got there! Great thread you've made as well, some stuff in there that I plan on doing so will save it for future reference  :happy2:

Just spent all afternoon giving it a clay bar, polish and wax. First time I've bothered doing that to a car and it is definitely worth the effort
