my babys been keyed
« on: April 16, 2015, 08:14:51 am »
So some barstewards decided to key my car last night. Ive been parking on a residential road so reckon someone got a bit pissed off. A note on my car would have been better I think. Anyway, I've heard of t cut but this looks pretty deep... You can see white. It goes from the from arch to the rear :(

Get the cctv and run the person down! Same happened to me within a week of owning it. Someone scratched the letter "J" into the side of my car.

No amount of T-Cut, polishing and filling would fix it.

I use the chemical guys V range polishes across the different grades but that looks too deep to fill from first glance.

Give it a go anyway! Those filler colour match pens won't work on such a long strip though as you'll see the line.

Sorry to hear it pesky, you only have the car a wet day! Some people just don't deserve hands!

Absolutely no time for anyone other than family and close friends!

Jelousy maybe!
Im sure it be some scrote thats never worked a day in there lives etc too

Mine is in secure garage every night without fail
Wouldn't own a nice motor if couldn't garage it every night as evidently too many horrible fookers around

Hope you get it sorted easily mate although looks like a paint job needed on that one!

same thing happend to me a couple weeks back... i ended up getting the door resprayed and blowing in the otherdoors so the new paint wasnt so noticable next to the 10 year old paint. Im happy with the result and i tried to turn it into a positive and got my rear valance colour coded at the same time!

Not nice! hope you can get it sorted asap

Go to a good body shop and let them assess it, I acknowledge it looks deep but is it defo all way through, it's amazing what a good body shop can do with a rotary. Good luck all the same.

That's disgusting. Some people really do deserve a kicking.

I've had this happen to me, so I know what you're feeling mate.

As others have said, take it to a bodyshop. They will have the best idea of what's needed whether it's paint or you can get away with other methods.

Keep the inner anger at bay, and rest assured that things will be sorted soon.

Best of luck with it :-)

Mine is in secure garage every night without fail

When I got a new apartment the spots are in pairs and anyone passing by can park in them.

I demanded as part of my deal to get the single spot on it's own just because people are oblivious to everyone else's cars!

In my family home just by chance one night I was watching as a neighbours friend reversed into my car, I ran down in bare feet and shirtless because I couldn't wait. He was halfway down the road when I caught up with him so I pulled him from the car. He told me he knew he hit the car but he was driving down the road to make a U-Turn to come back and call into the house.

Blatant lies so I tore him a new one and took his details!

People just don't care!!

Sickening.
This is one of the reasons I already hate taking the GTI to supermarket carparks or similar, the more time I spend cleaning and polishing it, the worse it will get.

Im one of them knobs that park across 2 bays, or one of them at the end so you can overlap the line

I am a abit courteous tho and do it at the back where people dont tend to park.

I'm one of those knobs who look for people who have parked across 2, and take up 2 next to them!
I actually have my favorite space in one supermarket, can drive straight in and it's as far from the door as you can get
