Same colour, same make, different animal.

I'll be collecting my new Mk5 on thursday all being well.

My first car was a Polo and after a couple of years in the dark world of rovers and Peugeots I came back to the VAG side around 7 years ago with an Audi Coupe 2.0 16v. I then spent five years being all sensible........ ok sensible at times with a 2001 Passat TDI 130 estate. A great old girl who never let me down even though I threw my muddy kit in her week in week out. I firmed up her ride with some eibach shocks and springs and gave her some new shoes to wear. As well as lots of other little mods to make living with her all the more pleasant.

Now I'm back to Petrol with this '05 Mk5 GTI.

Forgot my camera so these are pulled off Auto Trader.

It's a fairly basic spec, cruise control is the only extra I think, but it's clean and solid with a full VW history. fingers crossed I get as many miles out of this as I did with the Passat!

No plans to do anything to it other than possibly installing an arm rest.

See you all around!
