Small update to report: just had a major service done this week. 128k and still going strong!


As per the above, finally got round to fitting my red rear boot badge with the help of
@Gtiene here is a pre pic (the i had fallen off somehow!). This was done very simply using a hair dryer, a a thread and some WD40 - was amazing seeing it come off so easily.

Also picked up a VWR Intake this week from
@Lewo (top guy very helpful and kept me informed every step of the way).
Again with
@Gtiene being the master technician, we managed to get it fitted this afternoon. The pipe that leads off the engine cover was a pain to get off and in our desperation had to give
@RetroRaz a call just to give us some guidance!
Elbow grease and some WD40 did the trick and we finally had it all off and fitted. Excuse the dirty engine bay - anyone recommend any products to clean it up?
