Great updates! The wheels are perfect for our white cars.  :drinking:

When will test the new brake air ducts?

I'm not sure yet, maybe on 1st August. There is a trackday, but I didn't decide yet.
If there are over 30 degrees C, I'm not sure I want to stress the engine. An accurate weather report will be within 3-4 days ahead.

Yesterday despite it was Sunday I've taken the car back to the mechanic, (who opened the shop at about 22 to take a look at my car, great guy... :congrats:) because of a terrible noise coming from the front side. The whole car vibrates. Until now, I've ignored this thinking it's the brake ducts rubbing on the drive shaft, but it was so annoying that I decided to check it out.
It seems that the ducts are fine, no rubbing tracks on them. So with the car on the elevator he told me to turn the ESP off and do a hard launch on fifth, put it on neutral, and kill the engine.
The conclusion is that the front left wheel barring has died.
So i left the car at the shop, until the wheel barring arrives it will be lowered by 1 cm because I finally decided to participate to this time attack event on 8-9 August:

I've reserved number 26:

Until then some new pictures:

Great pictures of a beautiful car! Your brakes really show up with these wheels. :drinking:

That event seems awesome and full of mean machines!

Thanks guys! Can't wait for the time attack event.
I still have to do some wheel alignment and some logs after the lowering and wheel baring change.
Scorching hot here and I think the car might be better with lower timing settings.  :driver:

Some mini updates:

I've purchased a set of OZ wheel locks:

Finally I've got a SPS:

...and I'm preparing for the Sunday race so I'm back on Team Dynamics + DMACK, lowered the car and got a new alignment:

Nice purchases! Both will be handy.

Will you be able to film bits of your Sunday race? I can't wait to have track time as well.

Hi,

This is the result of my time attack effort:

Third place unfortunately, but I'll get them next time.  :driver:
One of the M4s, the one who took first place, should have been in a different class, it had a weight/power ratio of 3,77 (1628kg/431hp). The class limit was 3,8, and the organizers said it was a mistake after the race. Also I've heard that they were both remapped by AcSchnitzer. Only the weight was checked, the power has been declared by each one of us, gentlemen agreement.
Overall I'm happy with this result, because there were 34 degrees C in the shadow and 49 degrees C at the asphalt level, so I had massive heat soak with the S3 intercooler. On the main straight I had 10 km/h less than usual and I've struggled to keep the engine safe. After just one fast lap the water temperature was over 110 degrees C.

Thanks Rich! I'll come back with some photos/video from the event, but mine are completely boring.

Congrats on the great result! The competition was high!  :congrats:

If they were tuned it'd be very hard for you to compete with them. I don't see how a tuned M4 would have that power output. They'd have to be stock.

It was hot this weekend (even hotter here) so not the best for what you needed. When you upgrade your IC you'll be able to enjoy longer your mean machine.

Unfortunately for me, they were not stock, the only way to prove that would've been to challenge the result. In that case the organizers whould've tested them with an accelerometer, but I'll get them next time.
I need to shave 2 seconds,  with a good intercooler that is within reach.
The budget is low now but i found a cheap one from ebay that has the same spesc as Wagner:

I'm gathering more information about it.

Yeah, that IC is bigger than what you have at the moment. Just the quality of the aluminium might differ from a Peron/Wagner. I got the Darkside Developments S3 IC but maybe I was better off with that, if the aluminium is the same quality as the DD. The prices are similar. The DD silicone hoses use jubilee clips instead.
