Yeah, that was a nice surprise. I know Renault hatches do that to prevent understeer, I think I got the right setup.

So in the end how do you like the ASTs and the Quaife vs Wavetrac?

So in the end how do you like the ASTs and the Quaife vs Wavetrac?

I didn't feel any difference on the track between the 2 LSD's, so I quite like Quaife more because it seems to do the same job for less money. I don't know about wet or gravel, and I don't care much.

ASTs are far superior on the race track than my old Bilstein B16, but really hard and at least in my opinion, not for road use. They will cost more to run them everyday and they are no where near as confortable as B16.

I'm quite happy with the riding comfort of my car with the B16. Currently running them at 3 front and 3 rear, for daily driving. I think I'll go to 6/3 to use on track.

For sure you can try a bit more. I used it 8/10 on the track.

@teo_parvu  how are the AST compared to @fuscobal 's Ohlin's (Performance, street & price)?

@Shoduchi  I use 10/10 on the B16 on smooth tracks (aka not Nurburgring)...

I've only done 4 laps with fuscobal's car, I personally like AST's more on track and I believe they are faster, but they're more expensive than Ohlins Road and Track and almost unusable on anything else than good tarmac. I had to choose another road back from Hungaroring to avoid 30 km of bumpy surface.
