Do you use a mobile banking app?
« on: April 19, 2015, 09:33:05 pm »
If so help a brother out with his final year project. I am doing a research on the social & ethical issues relating to mobile banking services trying to understand the age group which use the services and also howthey find it from use perspective and security no personal detailed questions are asked apart from your age. Wont take no longer than 5 min.

Thanks in advance

I've done it also.
Likewise above, I'm also slightly concerned about security but as I always spend the balance of bank account on car stuffing (leaving it empty until payday) won't worry to much!!  :jumping:

I use banking app (barclays)

I had my bank robbed by someone in london using my details. I phoned barclays and they refunded the money after a few questions. They asked me which phone i had and once i told them they said most new phones samsung, iphones are more secure than anything as they have some built in security or somthing. Anyway am not sure what but just thought i would say here.

I will do the survey just now.

Done.

I sometimes have the niggling thought that the Barclays App could have some security issues. The problem is, the more they check and validate the harder and more annoying it becomes to use!

I also have concerns about the Paypal App. At least with Barclays you can only transfer money around accounts or pre-registered payees. With an email and password you could wreak havoc with Paypal and eBay!
