Loba flywheel Sachs paddle clutch stage 3 issue
« on: April 12, 2015, 06:07:27 pm »
Had kit fitted on my car everything was ok jus had a bit off a rattle more on overrun as u do with smf so decided to change gearbox as mine had slight play on input shaft, after replacing box everything was basically the same marginally quieter and better on overrun the most. Problem I now have I didn't before is that I find it very hard to change gear in any gear over 6krpm just feel really tough! Anything under 6k rpm it's beautiful not a problem. I've heard Sachs had problems on the pressure plate or cover but nothing confirmed, just find it weird how it's happened when changing gearbox. Also my car is a ed30 box was jqn and I replaced for a normal gti box kdq code and was virtually brand new, only difference is ratios which I've been told u can hardly even tell. Any help appreciated

Alex reports a lot of issues with Loba/Sachs stuff not changing gear at high rpms.
