Wheel centres
« on: April 21, 2015, 08:49:58 am »
Dear All

I've been struggling to find the right size wheel centre stickers for my newly sprayed Mk.1 Gti wheels as they are an odd size i.e. 58mm diameter.  After lots of searching I found the following company that make custom sizes, they are not the cheapest (I paid £22.06 for 5 including delivery) but are top quality, the website is http://www.signdezine.co.uk/ Hope this is useful for anyone doing a resto or with non standard wheels.

By the way, does anyone know hoe to keep cats off their cars, my neighbour's cat seems to love my cars but it scratches them when getting on and off  :fighting:

Ha ha ha I didn't even notice the cat for ages. Nice mk 1 the cats love my edition 30 aswell. Luckily it's white so scratches don't show up so bad.

Flippin cat has scratched my ED30 (black) AND my Mk.1 (just resprayed last year).  If I chase it away then it makes more scratches trying to run on the car.  If I leave it alone then it's up and down all day.  Arrrrgggghhhhh  :jumping:

Hosepipe - thanks for the suggestion.  I'll let you know the result.

I had a motion activated sprinkler in the front garden to stop the neighbours cat sh*tting in it. Did the trick. The postman found it quiet amusing.

Good news for me that the wheel centre caps from www.signdezine.co.uk/ are top quality.
I've just ordered a 45mm set for my newly ordered Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2.  :happy2:

I used them before on my old mk4. They had to stop selling BBS badges as BBS stepped in and had a word!

But anyway, they are indeed good quality. Had them on my old wheels and they remained well stuck and like new for years.
