My car now has zero bhp!!!...UPDATE!!!
« on: December 03, 2009, 04:09:27 pm »
The car is looking a little sorry for itself at the moment :sad1:

Took it in for a few more mods and sort of got carried away :ashamed:

A quick game of spot my turbo....which of these is my turbo?

1. Brand new.....

2. A little black....

3. A bit brown....

Is the brown one running lean and the black one running rich?

Quaife going in for the DSG is one of many reasons the engine and 'box is out. :innocent:

Wish it was me who had room to do this, but it is at my local specialist 3 miles down the road.

Engine bay cleaning to the extreme?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

My K04 turbo has had a health check and is in perfect working order, a bit brown, but normal. The sooty one is running too rich and the new one has done 2k miles without a remap.

More useable power to the wheels Mike :happy2:

More power.......we'll see

Brown is good, possibly running a little hot to be that brown. But then thats the TFSi running lean for you.
