Brake upgrade complete

After spending months of hunting for brakes and sorting out some braided brake lines I'm finally done and a few extra touches  :smiley: I think the change is very marmite love it or hate it.



Reflex silver GTI, revo intake, eurojet dogbone mount and insert, colour coded rear bumper, projector headlights, revo stage 1, precat delete, cente resonator delete, R8 coilpacks, eibach sportlines, depo projectors, 4300k hid kit... Not finished yet

Looks well, but how come the colour choice... It is different and brightly stands out  :happy2:

Get an orange theme going !

Bigger brakes are always a good mod, no matter what colour they are.   :driver: :driver:
If it's not broke, Mod it.....

I wanted something a little more unique and as I had the brakes off I could go nuts on the colour. It's actually a pearl paint but you can see it in the pictures :smiley:

How do you find the stopping power over your old OEM setup, also what pads did you go with...
If it's not broke, Mod it.....

They are brilliant compared to the OEM set up a lot less effort used on braking. Found out when taking the old ones off that the boot had split around the piston a great fix and upgrade.

damn clips are such a pain and just couldn't get them in without a few chips in the paint. I will be touching them up when the backs are done in a week or so.

Yeah the clips did that with mine,so glad I just painted them instead of getting them powered coated

yer the clips a pita. scratched mine when i painted them to. one bonus i have have with running the rs3/ttrs brakes is no clip  :signLOL:

Haha already eyeing up orange coolant pipes  :wink:. After GTI spring fest I've got lots of ideas but monza refurb is definitely next on the list  :smiley:

Do it. I got red coolant pipes for my GTI, hope to fit them soon. Its pure being but worth it.

im watching some on eBay atm and I know they will look good also will go with my orange theme it's getting the time to do it all. I've still got subframe bolts sitting around to be fitted haha. My to do list gets longer every week.
