TPMS tyre pressure wiring help
« on: April 27, 2015, 07:39:48 pm »
Hi all.

I bought a tpms kit and not sure what some of the wires are for or where they go. Can someone help?

I know this one goes to the abs pump as it's the longest wire

Not sure what these 3 wires are for

And then this black connector comes off

aah so remove 3 wires from the ABS plug and connect into the black connector and then the 3 remaining wires on the TPMS loom go back into the abs pump. As if its going in a loop?

Yep its a loop Raz.

This indirect tpms monitors abs sensors for rotational speed differences which result from a tyre loosing pressure. Not as accurate as direct sensor method but well worth it otherwise :)
