« on: April 28, 2015, 08:44:50 pm »
Hi ppl been having major headaches with the HID kit that was installed on my mk5 ed30. Looking to remove this and just replace with good quality bulbs . Anyone know if this is easy enough to do ...if intensive the HID kit will there be a connection in place for a standard bulb to fit back on ...Any advice is much appreciated ...thanks

There should be original H7 connector floating about inside the unit if it's a normal headlight halogen. If it is pull all that hid out I'm running osram 110% bulbs. Brilliant. Really bright been running 24/7 as drl still good after 14 months.
