Variations of Polar FIS
« on: April 30, 2015, 02:11:15 pm »
Folks, I'm looking for a Polar FIS to enable the Bluetooth to be controlled by the highline.

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the various models? I'm not bothered about the other info available, it's just the Bluetooth control that I need.

Is this all I need;

I fitted a kit from Carsystems.pl this last weekend. :wink:

I guess you can get a newer module and get the Polar BT separately and all should work as well. With this version J I got what I was looking for. :smiley:

A Polar FIS is a different module. You just need the Polar BT/Battery (PB01).

Cheers, I'd seen that but it's said it was for White highlines only. I can see you got it working though!

Can I ask why you got it and the Polar FIS Advanced? I thought the latter got the Bluetooth working too?

@Lyons My Eddie came from factory with a 5N0 Premium Bluetooth module that worked perfectly with the Polar FIS Advanced, but the module was too old to connect with my iphone so I got a new module 7P6 that can connect with my phone. The Polar BT allows the new module to show and be controlled from the cluster and steering wheel and not just from the RNS-510.

Im guessing a 7p6.  The 5n0 and 729 both work in highline menu

If you get one of the newer versions only compatible with white clusters you'll need the Polar BT box. :wink:
