Got hold of a friends VCDS/Vagcom and it showed the below faults.. The car has just had the chain/tensioner/adjuster replaced so battery was off and all the gubbins. I cleared them all and went out for a drive again and they still show. There are no warning lights on the dash and car seems to be driving great. Any help/suggestions welcome.

I also have a creaking steering rack, when manoeuvring it creaks/clicks - there is no issue with steering and road handling but it's annoying. Think it got worse after it's been raining so may need lubrication on the joints maybe?
I didn't think owning a GTi would be such a ball ache to start with!
