Smokey exhaust → Replaced valve cover = discovered...
« on: May 07, 2015, 07:46:13 am »
I began noticing smoke from the exhaust and I previously did an EVAP reroute but the smoke persisted under heavy boost and again would appear just before coming to a stop when in low gear and coasting to a stop. After removing the old valve cover I noticed cleaning fluid leaking out of the PCV to Rear Breather Route when I sprayed cleaner in that route as well as a poor seal around the larger splash plate...all is noted in the vid.

good job for bringing this up - it's been a well known issue in the states for a few years, they seem to suffer more from failed VC then we do. It's always good to raise awareness though  :happy2:
